During the recent snow, I wasn't driving the car. When I did a week later, the sat have display screen is all blistered. The programmes all still work but the screen is ruined.

Has anyone else had this please?

Wow, that doesn't sound good. Look forward to hearing others experience and comment from your Dealer.

Just a thought - it’s not still got the protective plastic film on the screen, has it?
The one I have at the moment does and it had a couple bubbles in it, If it was mine I'd have peeled it off but it's not so I'd probably won't (It's one the dealers loaned me as a courtesy car whilst my 5 is being looked at)

I did wonder if it was a protective layer but it's an '18 plate so the previous owner didn't remove it! I didn't want to pick at it. I'll take a photo and post here!

Photo!

If you use a finger nail near the bottom left edge is there a change in texture. It does kinda look like a screen protector that’s coming off

I really hope that's a screen protector
If not it's a the de laminating of the screen and get it to a dealer

Sounds costly! Hopefully they don't try and class it as wear and tear ....

I have the exact same problem! After a couple of cold days without driving the car, the screen got full of bubbles. I wondered if it was a protective film, but doesn't look like that's the case. Did you have it fixed after all? If so, how was it solved?

Hi there, I have an mg zs and have had exactly the same issue. I took it back to the dealership and they couldn’t explain it. The display acreen is only convered by the warranty for 3 years and I had the issue after 39 months so they wanted 2500 for a new system. Criminal.

Hi there, I experienced exactly the same thing. Cold snap and the entertainment screen is blistered. Took it to the dealership after 38 months of buying the car but the screen is only covered for 3 years. It’s a joke.

In addition to this. Mg offered to replace the system at a cost of 2500. They also admitted that if done nothing to cause the blistering but that they couldn’t explain the cause of the issue. I’m currently asking them to now investigate bubbles in my windscreen!
