Drivers door handle plastic cap fell off

I have a white ZS EV and the driver’s door handle has now given me a problem. On the static part of the handle, where you would put your thumb as you pull out the main part of the handle, the plastic cover has popped off, to reveal the keyhole that I assume is used if ever the central unlocking fails. Now I have a piece of white plastic and a piece of silver trim plastic that fell on the floor, and no idea how to get them to stick back on.
Is this a common experience? How do people get this thing back together again?

Hi,
if you haven't done it, I had the same problem today and just found it impossible to put back on. The way to do it is to pull the handle away from the door and you can then just push it on.
