We have just completed a 20 day driving holiday in our MG5, starting in UK and going through France, down to (almost) the end of Italy and back - over 3,000 miles. If anyone is interested in the experiences we had you can check out our blog here ITALY2024 – RMJI & FBAI ... if you're just interested in the chargers then look at the spreadsheet in the summary - 729kWh picked up over the trip ;-)

Mine for 2021-2024. Another trip this year to Italy etc

I'll read yours

Yes, I guessed Italy would be a challenge. We have booked places with chargers & parking! Yes, I did it a year in advance to get them :)

I will only drive on 2 days in 9 in Italy, as we are parked / staying near frequent public transport. I think if I visit Italian cities it will be in cooler times and by train!

I will blog on my trip in a couple of months!

If you haven't already seen this guy on YouTube he has done several trips to Italy in various cars, E-Niro, Ioniq 5, Tesla, Peugeot e2008.
His video blogs of the trips are long but I find very watchable.

This link includes a search for Italy within his channel but there are some spurious video creep in. They are usually in 2 parts about an hour each ( I think the e-Niro one was in 3 parts) but may be worth a watch for anyone planning on going to Italy.

He is very human which makes it interesting, so don't expect some sort of know it all geek.

He also did short one on booking hotels with chargers, maybe useful or not.

Yes I do watch MrEV for general interest, but he doesn't do charging info as I need travelling, Glyn Hudson is better at that.

Very true. Whilst he does mention the stops in the vlogs they are very much as part of the story rather than any detail. Maybe message him on his channel as he probably does have the knowledge, just hasn't shared it too well....yet. :)
