I have HG HS Exclusive. Driving normal, stopped at the turning and when I tried to drive electronic parking brake (EPB) did not release. I had to turn off the button ((A)).

I tried again few time as soon as I apply the break, green light turn on (as normal) in the dashboard and when trying to drive away, break will not release unless I turn off the EPB ((A)) and release the hand break to drive. Now I had to turn off EPB ((A)) button otherwise I can’t drive it.

I will appreciate if anyone can guide me about this fault.

Kind regards

Was your seatbelt plugged in correctly. I notice the brakes do not release when seatbelt is not fully engaged.

Thanks, Seatbelt is fine and I have tried again. Its works fine on reverse but not when I try to drive. I have to press break and hand break switch and then I can drive even thought hand break not engaged and light is not ON.

Are you parked on a slope?

No its flat surface. I have done some research and think its something to do with rear brake caliper or caliper sensor. It reverse fine but forward, I have to manually touch the hand brake button to release the brake.
I will take it to the garage and let's see.

I dont use the EPB ((A)) button and just use it like a normal car. The park brake comes on when stopping, turning the car off or on a hill anyway or as soon as you roll. I used to have it on but same problem, it wouldnt release sometimes. Since i turned it off np.
