Engine Warning Light?
Hi, I’ve done just over 3,000 miles since new in August. A couple of times over the last six weeks or so, the orange engine warning light has come on. After consulting the manual, I opened and closed/retightened the petrol filler cap and that seemed to do the trick. However, its happened again today and, despite retightening the cap, the light stays on and the manual now suggests I need to contact an MG dealer as soon as possible. To me, that sounds serious, so I gave them a ring. They say they have never heard of the fault, beyond the filler cap tightening, but providing there are no driving issues (there are none), bring it in next time I am in town. (40 mile round-trip).
I’d be interested to see if anyone else has experienced this and/or can suggest a solution.
