This app is good for a lot of things BUT I'd like to see the cell voltage spread to check if the battery is balanced as in the two years since new the car has never said it needed a balance or that one had been done when I've charged to 100%. Is there another app out there or is eZS still being developed?

I don't get the focus on the battery equalisation thing (the manual does not call it balancing)

There is literally a single paragraph dedicated to it on the manual. If it was super important it would make a much bigger deal of it.

Just make sure every so often you charge to 100% and leave it plugged in.

It would still be nice to know if you have a cell that is consistently lower than the rest. this would point to a future failure. As I've said before, I've had he car for over 2 years and not once has the car told me that the battery required balancing or, on the occasions that I've charged to 100%, informed me that a balance had been done.

You can see this info in the eZS app.

How does this work , do I need an external device?
Yes, an OBD-II dongle, usually a Bluetooth one. It's best to get one that is a step or two above rock bottom for cheapness, as the really cheap ones don't implement enough of the required commands.

Also, at least for now, eZS is only available for Android, not iOS.

my eZS app loads only once out of 10-15 times, gets stuck on connection so I mainly use Car Scanner app ...

@julianNino - search OBD threads on the forum and you'll find all the info you need.

I'd try a different OBD dongle, mine wasn't cheap but connects every time. Made by OBDLink for sale on eBay.
