Flaps open

Ok who needs a spell on the naughty step?

I spotted a grey mg5 driving towards brierley hill fire station, from dudley, with his charge flap wide open?
This was around 4pm today.

I was about to flash and signal something was wrong but couldn't think of an appropriate sign to make.

This must be about the 4/5 thread that is running on this very subject, and I have posted the thread below at lease 3 times but here it’s again I haven’t done it since I made this very simple buts works.

I first posted the item below around early May 2021

Done once when I first got my 5 then took Evasive action to avoid it happening again store mine in that little pocket in the centre tunnel under the drive selector

I might put a small mirror on the garage door so I don't have to get out of the car to check ?

I do it all the time, drive hundreds of miles with my flap wide open

Pull cable out, replace bung, close flap. Then deal with the rest of the cable. It then becomes habit, I do the same with petrol/diesel, before I even put the nozzle back on the pump, I've closed the cap and flap.

I’ve smuggly giggled at these references for a while now. Yes it’s amusing but a bit silly and shows a lack of concentration on the part of the qualified driver. Humph !
So my good lady and I went out yesterday to pick up some bedding plants for the garden. We turned it into a wonderful lunch date. Couldn’t get near the free chargers at Castleview, Stirling for Teslas so went round to the SEPA office charger just round the corner. We loaded up for half an hour to 90%. That allowed us to reach home triumphantly with 80% tucked away for another day. I leapt out and emptied the flowers from the boot.
My wife then whispered those three little words
” Your flap’s open “
?‍?‍?‍

I knew I'd jinxed myself.
Pouring with rain at the local shopping centre with the car on a spot of free charging.

Pulled up at home and saw the reflection of the car

Flaps well and truly open.
