We've had our MG ZS EV TROPHY SR for 9 days now and are happy charging it from our solar panels and E7 at 11p per kWh and ventured out to the local town, Ballymena, to check out the local public charging points. There are 6 around the town and 3 are out of order. The other 3 are going good. The app shows these greyed out too. We signed up for the ESB account and are waiting for the Type 2 22kw charge lead to arrive in a day or 2, so we knew we couldn't charge the car today, just doing some ground work to prepare ourselves.
Not sure how many of these charge points are across Northern Ireland but the map is showing dozens and dozens and they are all or mostly FREE!! So the wife can charge the car up totally free right outside the local Marks and Spencer's food store twice a week!!
I'm like a dog with 2 tails at discovering all this free fuel ???
