Front Suspension Bushings

Hey

So my car has been making a creaking noise going over speedbumps the past few weeks.

Got a mechanic to confirm it's the front suspension bushings that are on their way out.

Anyone know where to get replacements? Apparently they're a bit hard to find for non-MG garages?

There is - but they want £156 to double check the diagnosis. However I've had the bite the bullet anyway since none of the independents around here wants to touch it since it's electric.
It sucks because, from what I can tell, the bushes are covered under the warantee to 36 months - and I'm sitting on 38 months

Yup - sods law I guess. Needs done though so just need to get it over with

Daughter's MG ZS popped the water pipe leading to the rear washer during the coldest weather. It just came apart at the joint. It was clearly visible under the bonnet, just not reachable. MG dealer (somewhere near Birmingham) said they'd need to confirm the diagnosis for £130 before doing the one minute job. I mean - it was blindingly obvious!!

Luckily a friend managed to reach it....
