front window demist button settings

As i do not like to fiddle with settings whilst driving.
What are the settings that everyone has when pressing the front demist button.
i did think this was factory set to a default.

Mine over the past couple of weeks comes on with max fan speed and 'lo' temp setting. Havent noticed before what the settings had been as its worked fine ?

This has on a couple of occasions created more mist on the front windscreen, before eventually demisting. Before this the demist function instantly cleared.

Outsdie weather was warm and misty/damp early this morning. I had not noticed it was weather dependent before.

any tips to check before it becomes a problem ?

Set air to outside, it is likely at auto or recirc.

Did manage to check this, as I found when using the normal aircon button, the recirc seems to reset itself to on .
On a side note,I would prefer to set it to fresh air incoming as default.

AFAIK, the temperature on Front Demist is the same as whatever you have it set at in the heater. The fan speed and air direction are automatic. You can set it to switch the rear demister on automatically at the same time if you want.
