Went to Fully Charged in Farnborough today (Friday).
The queue to get in was as bad as last year. We joined the end of the traffic queue at around 10:00 am, it was 11:30 before we were in the show!!!
I wanted to talk to someone about improving the use of energy in our home and booked a chat with someone at 1:40. By 1:50, no one had turned up at our table, so I was found someone else to talk to. Unfortunately this resulted in around 20 minutes talking about thermal solar & heat pumps instead of solar PVs & home batteries!!
We found the MG stand outside and a bit like last year it was underwhelming. The only car on show was an HS PHEV. I guess if there are general supply issues it doesn’t make much sense to put a great deal of effort in.
Apart from the above, I throughly enjoyed the day, listened into some interesting group discussions and picked up ideas on other things to consider for “decarbonising” out home.
If anyone attends I hope they have a good time.
