Our 3 year lease ran out last month and we said Goobye to our car. Anyway, I thought I would share a few thoughts about my experience with it on this forum.
I really like this forum, I have found some very useful and helpful information that has helped along the way with my MG. So Thank you all.

We had the luxury version in red. Parked in a car park I thought, compared to the others looked pretty good. There are so many bland and ugly cars around today. I also liked the sun roof, but did not use it much. Although it certainly made the inside of the car a lot brighter. So I am glad I had it.

I live in Norway, last winter was long, cold, dark and harsh, with more than the average snowfall. Some days it dropped to -30°C. I did not drive the car much during the winter. I have a drive with no garage. Many days at a time, the car just stood there hiding under a cover. But on the days I did use it, I must admit I was really impressed, as it always started first time. I had studded winter tires so it drove pretty well in some pretty adverse weather conditions. Except when the ice rain came. Best just to stay at home when that comes.

I thought the interior was pretty good, the ride was for the most part comfortable. I liked the tech that came with it. The infotainment panel was also easy to use and pretty intuitive. Though we did have to do several restarts on the few occasions it did shut down. But it worked perfectly after that.

Chinese cars do bring a lot to the table when it comes to included tech, compared to other manufacturers who charge a premium. The 7 year guarantee was also reassuring.

One thing that frustrated the hell out of me, was having no definite control over whether it ran on electricity or petrol. Especially, when it was cold. Even on regular days, it often refused to run on electric. I certainly will not miss that. The amount of time I kept pressing that damn button feeling powerless.
Neither will I miss the tinny, trebly sound that the poor speakers produced.

Am I satisfied I chose the SUV? At the time it was what I needed. It did what it was supposed to do. Do I miss my old MG? Not at all. After almost 2 months, it is still listed for sale at the dealership. Would I buy another MG in the future. I would not say no if I was offered one, but there is now so much to choose from in the electric world, as the infrastructure improves and the cars go so much further on a full charge. Just for the record I now have a German EV, which I am enjoying tremendously.

Thanks again and happy driving.
