Grating noise

There's a slight grating noise between releasing the acceleration and freewheeling. It disappears when you apply gas again. As if it is switching from one mode to another? Anyone had the same noise. Seems to come from left hand side of the car.

Hi Linda, the hybrid motor is located on the left-hand side and coming off the accelerator, sees the brake regeneration kick in, so some noise is to be expected. However, I suspect that the noise you are hearing is the one that is generated to alert pedestrians of the car's presence when the vehicle is in EV mode. This is a mandatory requirement and can be heard on all Hybrids and BEVs, so it's nothing to worry about.

This happens for me between 60-70kph
