The best tip for driving a car with automatic transmission if you have never driven one before is to "keep your left foot out of the way". But you will know this from your test drive. You will soon get used to driving it, and feel the benefits, particularly in urban driving. The Auto hold function is also handy in heavy traffic as you can press the brake a bit deeper after you stop, watch it light up green on the dash, and then rest your foot on the floor until you need to move off. At that point, all you have to do is press the accelerator. It all adds to a more relaxing drive.

Must admit l went for the clutch twice when l first got the car , much moaning from my passenger lol

I did it once when we were doing some test drives a few years ago, it's amazing how good the brakes work with left foot innit I nearly had the salesman sat in front with us
