There's a post on here somewhere with a picture of them jacking up their 5EV, to change a wheel, where you can see a silver looking box on the underside which I suppose is the battery housing. The ground clearance doesn't look much and makes me wonder how vulnerable is the underside. There are a few country lanes around here where some cars have grounded where the edges have subsided.

What are your thoughts and experiences?

Hi
I think that is the battery box
My Mg5 has a lot more ground clearance than my old Ford C-Max that the wife has taken over now
When I had it we used to go camping with the Cmax with a trailer on the back and I never had ground clearance issues with that
The mg5 is more like a cross over with the ground clearance
???????

I didn't even consider ground clearance.
There's a really tight ally I sometimes park in and my combo bashes it's nose really hard no matter how I approach. My Transit tipper has plenty of clearance but it lifts a rear wheel clean off the road so won't back in.

I find the middle is normally safe it's front and rear overhang that catches me out
