Thought the idea was to allow you to open the doors in tight spaces. I’ve ordered one but am going to need to book a test drive to check I can actually open the doors when I get home. We have quite a narrow drive with a wall on one side and bushes on the other. If I park right next to the wall (and I mean within inches) I can just about open my current cars doors (Tesla M3P) to the first ‘notch’.The height is supposed to be 2020mm and the width goes to 2826mm. The sensors will stop the door if there is not enough room but I guess none of us want to test that!!
Just wrote a reply using the height not the width! So rethinking it as I can't see a delete button for the post, I've edited it to this for now as need to jump on a work call lolThought the idea was to allow you to open the doors in tight spaces
Lol you should allow 18 Inches of space per side to be safe....from what I saw both doors combines exceed 2400mm standard parking space . UK may need the summon feature tbhThought the idea was to allow you to open the doors in tight spaces. Will it use the parking sensors though to avoid obstacle or will it need to be perfectly lined up and you can only control forwards and backwards? My problem is going to be my drive, which is narrow, is also a crescent shape!Perhaps exit the car outside the garage and then park it inside using the key fob controls? ?

if youre thinking of jumping in. Modern cars are so tight and compact youll need to be very agile and once youre in above the seats, finding a way to twist your body 90 degrees and for your legs to not smash the steering wheel as you try to sit your arse down all in one motion....Good luck!Just put the roof down![]()

Probably cheaper to just redo the drive! Will it use the parking sensors though to avoid obstacle or will it need to be perfectly lined up and you can only control forwards and backwards? My problem is going to be my drive, which is narrow, is also a crescent shape!
Yoga wont help with jumping into a convertible with the doors shut. calisthenics might..Take up yoga![]()
