When using a public charge point with a phone app, make sure you activate the one you are at and not another charger 100mtr away in another charge station 
Driving from South Yorkshire to Northumberland and stopped at a public EV charging station but the app map confused it with the one in a petrol station forcourt.
Stood waiting for point number 2 to start dispensing, waiting, waiting, waiting. The app even suggested shutting it down and trying again.
Big difference between Osprey and Ifinity.
I'm still on a learning curve
I chose the one I did because it was 10p per kW cheaper, it's just aswell the app was looking after me.
