You can discuss values and financing here. Im assuming if purchasing via PCP the final value will be lower than the actual car value at 36 and 48 months.
Also in terms of depreciation i see the top spec going down steadily if MG plan works out. I think residuals will be ok considering other EVs like Taycan which have a 47% depreciation over 3- 4 years. If the car is indeed limited somewhat aside from demo cars, demand consistent and is reliable. It may have stronger than usual residuals
AWD GT vs Single Motor Successful depreciation
1st Year - £50,000 - 10,000 miles - £45,000
2nd Year -£45,000 - 20,000 miles - £38,000
3rd Year - £39,000 - 30,000 miles - £33,000
4th Year - £35,000 - 40,000 miles - £29,000
5th Year - £28,000 - 50,000 miles - £24,000
6th Year - £25,000 - 60,000 miles - £21,000
7th Year - £20,000 - 70,000 miles - £16,000
Final value if on GT 4 year PCP £499 pm - with 20,000 deposit - £30,000?! Year 4 slightly sharper drop due to end of lease deals and pcps. Then again Tesla model 3 ended up 20k at year 4 from 40k+...theres many more of them for sale with taxi mileage
Worst case scenario id go by the single motor figures for the GT. Depends how many cars fall outside MG Network...
What do you guys think? There might be a sharper drop if a coupe or facelift appears in year 4. Also the hype would die by Year 2-3. If its ceased the reduction might slow down.
