How do you turn the theft alarm off?

Does anyone know how to turn the theft alarm off? I’m about to go on the ferry from Portsmouth to Santander, it’s 36 hours across the Bay of Biscay and previously we’ve always turned the car alarm off to stop it going off as the boat moves. I’ve checked the book around recovery towing but it doesn’t mention there. Any ideas anyone? Thanks!

No need to worry as the MG4 doesn’t have a motion alarm. I took the ferry from Oban to Mull and there wasn’t a peep from the car, but others weren’t so quiet.

Not the same length of crossing ( ) but I took mine on the Ardrossan to Brodick (Arran) ferry without issues.

There are also no motion sensors in the interior of the car so the pine air freshner hanging fron the rear view mirror won't set the alarm off during a rough crossing.

My brother's not on the ferry so you'll have a calm crossing.

He regularly goes across to Brittany and nine times out of ten the weather's not at its best but he's just come back.

Well the journey was great no evidence of any alarm going off. So I guess as suggested all fine. Thanks ?
