I plugged in my car at the office today and once it had reached 100% I went to move it so as to free up a bay for someone else. I couldn't see all the charging bays but I assumed someone might have needed one.
When I left the office tonight, as I was walking back to my car I started counting the chargers and quickly realised no matter how many, they are probably never enough!

We have 83 chargers serving in excess of 150 bays.

We need more!

We have nowhere near that many, 4 sites in total, all of them have chargers, but amount varies considerably. Some sites had none before I took on my current role, but thanks to some investment, we have chargers at all sites now. I still want more, and looking at schemes that could help.

Mind blowing! Hard to believe you guys are so far ahead of us. I'd be surprised to see any chargers at work bays here. But I haven't been in the work force since last century so I'm way out of touch.
The main Mandurah shopping center does have two bays, so I guess that's something

Before I took early retirement 18 months ago there were zero charge points at my work place. I don't know if that has changed now, given that several of my former colleagues now have Tesla M3 Dual Motor Performance as their company cars. (That said, the Eurocentral Tesla supercharger site is only a mile or so away).

We have 8 x 7 kW and 4 x 3.6 kW for approximately 110 staff. They are currently free and almost at capacity, but they start charging 25p /kWh soon so I think the usage will drop off considerably.

That seems about right: 1 charger every 10 employees.
They started charging staff 26p+VAT last year as they expanded the network, but usage is still pretty high over here.
Some days are busier than others and my strategy these days is not to charge at work every day, because I don’t like to have to move the car once it’s fully charged, and instead charge a larger amount from around lunchtime on a Friday when most people have moved to a regular space (or working from home)
Most of my charging is at home at 9p/kWh but some weeks I have to public charge and this is the cheapest and most convenient way for me, especially before the weekend

My office has three 7kW (free) chargers for more than 200 employees.
There are a lot of electric cars in our car park, so competition for those chargers is intense.
People often don't move their cars after they've been charged.
My strategy is to reach the office by 7:30 so that I can snag a charger. Any later than that, the Tesla brigade nick them all.
I'm grateful for the free electricity, though.

Free chargers should have a booking system and a charge limit. Otherwise people will abuse them.
You wish it would self regulate but 3 chargers is way too few.

When I retired last year there were none and zero plans to add any.
The roof had 98 solar panels on it so I was surprised they weren't going to look into it.

None! The owners of the carpark in our multi story office tower asked tenants to take on an insane amount of liability so none got installed. Think they have been listening to much FUD ?
