OK i can't take any credit for the following link, it was also tested on VW ID4's not MG's.
As some? MG's don't have preconditioning/preheating on the batteries, your driving style can affect the speed you get from a rapid charger.
TLDR is yoyo driving vs steady driving before charging.
The yoyo driven ID4 hits 130kw whilst the steady driven ID4 charges around 30kw.
No approval is given to inappropriate driving styles.
Does it work on a MG, might be worth a try.
