Since I need to install a thermal imaging dashcam, which will be mounted above the license plate, how can I route the cable from the license plate area into the engine bay?

I know how to run the cable from the engine bay into the car's interior, but I'm not sure of the best way to bring the cable from the front license plate area into the engine bay. The air intake grille is covered by a panel, and I don’t know how to remove it. Are there any other better entry points?

The intake grill you mention is automatic - it opens/closes as and when the car decides it needs to. On the SE SR / Standard these vents are always open.

As to how else - I'm not sure. You could maybe drill a hole near where the external temperature sensor is. (To the right of the right grill - as you look back at the front of the car). Or maybe there's some space next to that sensor?
