Hypervolt Home 3 Pro showing 'unplugged' incorrectly.

We had our Hypervolt 3 Pro charger installed by Octopus on 07/01/2025. It has been working fine since then until this morning after returning home from work.

The app is not recognising the charger even though it is plugged in.

The Hypervolt test shows a healthy outcome with no issues.

Anyone have similar issues previously?

I assume you've tried the usual things like clearing cache in the app, clearing data in the app (will require you to redo login details), uninstalling and reinstalling the app (ditto redo login details)?
 
Make sure the charging cable is securely plugged and locked into the car.

Another thing to try is switching off the Hypervolt at the mains for a few minutes before switching back on again.
 
Had a call from the EV Team at Octopus. He can see all the charging events since installation of the Hypervolt including failed connection attempts.

We have ended our call and he is to ring me back in 30-40 minutes after going through our history.

Hopefully this will resolve the issue. I'll report back with an update that I hope will help anyone else with this problem 🤞
 
I have exactly the same symptoms since yesterday evening HV3Pro/IOG.

I have restarted the HyperVolt (main isolation). Same symptoms.

I removed the charger from Octopus and the charger successfully charges the EV. I am not able to re add the charger to Octopus now. Octopus connects to the HyperVolt cloud correctly and takes control of the charger, but it gets stuck at the stage of trying to initiate a test charge. I have raised a ticket with Octopus.
 
I've had no response to my email, however...

With no intervention from me, and without the car even being plugged in, the charger went from it's stuck state of 'cannot complete test charge' to looking good. When I plugged the car in it immediately detected the plug-in and scheduled a charge 🤷‍♂️

@Warmywhite - I'd be interested in whether you hear any explanation, although I'm assuming that it's something in the Octopus/Hypervolt infrastructure that is now resolved.
 
Got back in after driving around 70 miles in the car. Plugged in and smart schedule created straight away.

Had no further contact from Octopus. Guess they were aware that this was a widespread problem so just pleased they've sorted it, hopefully for everyone.

Would've been nice to have had some kind of explanation or apology though.

Interesting.....
I had a similar problem yesterday while trying to add my Hypervolt 3 Pro charger to Intelligent Octopus Go . I could not get past the test charge stage. I emailed Octopus last night & today got a few suggestions (most of which I had already tried).

I know my charger works with the car as I set up a schedule via iSmart to charge the car overnight.

This afternoon I resumed my efforts to sort this and to my amazement it worked first time & I was able to set up a charging schedule.
 
I am new to Intelligent Go.....As a matter of interest, should the schedule times listed by the Hypervolt app match those shown by the Octopus app?
