During the forums outage today I really missed not being able to check what was going on!

I have weirdly become addicted to seeing if I can help someone with a useful answer to a problem, or at least a suggestion that might sort them out.

And of course, I was sorely missing the good humour and all the friendly banter that takes place on here too.

I mean, to be fair, I really haven't benefited from anyone else's answers to a problem yet, because I am already over qualified and excellent in every way.

The other forum I frequent started defaulting to a message about it being off-line for maintenance about two days ago. Currently, every page is now getting a "502 bad gateway" error.

Consider that you got off lightly.

Consider that you got off lightly.

The other forum was down for about ten days. It went from off-line for maintenance to bad gateway to off-line again then started 404-ing. But I just discovered it came back on-line on Friday, and they've migrated it to the same platform we use here. Frabjous day, frankly, because it's so much better. (I thought it might have gone forever.)

@Bricktop X PWR I was just thinking, prior to discovering this thread what a knowledgeable chap you were, and always giving off your knowledge to other less fortunate members in your jovial polite manner and happy to do this without any compensation or accolades.

You really should change your name to something more appropriate to your knowledge like @I know more than u X PWR
