Anyone experienced here some glitches with the infotainment system?
I encountered this many times. When I am in CarPlay and I place the turn signal to any direction then immediately push the turn signal back to its original state, the screen goes black. The only workaround is to go back to the homescreen, click the CarPlay (which will still show a blank screen), wait for a few seconds, go back to the homescreen again, then immediately tap the Media Playback widget multiple times until CarPlay shows up.
I tried everything even infotainment hard reset and restart.
Unfortunately, unlike other counterpart around the world like MG Australia, MG Philippines/SAIC Philippines is so quiet when it comes to aftersales support especially with software.
Last news from them is that they target to release iSMART here in the Philippines this year, but still no updated new from them.
When I go to the dealer for periodic maintenance, they are all clueless about the infotainment software updates. It is like they just want to sell the car and just give so-so aftersales. My car is stuck using R40 plagued with weird bugs.
Periodic maintenance is alzo bizarre. There are no reports after maintenance about battery health or status of the major components of an EV. I am not sure about other dealers from other countries.
