I drive a Gen 1 MG ZS EV. The speakers are terrible, just treble and no bass at all. I've recently got a shop to install the underseat subwoofer and boy oh boy it makes a HUGE difference. I dont know if you'll require anything more than this woofer but the size of the car + the lack of engine noise means this woofer provides enough bass for the kind of music i listen to (metal, edm, ccm). I even had to EQ the 50 and 100hz down slightly as it was too boomy for my ears. If you're ever thinking of installating a underseat subwoofer, I'll say do it. Its a worthy audio upgrade!
