Hi all,
I’m the owner of a new ZS hybrid, first MG I’ve ever driven and I already love it after just a week!
Couple of points I’m unsure of and I’d be really grateful for any help or advice.
First, I’ve just driven for about 20 miles without the electric motor cutting in at all. Is that normal even in very cold weather?
Second, the instrument panel display in the online manual isn’t the same as mine. I have the word ‘READY’ showing in green in the bottom of the display; any idea what that means? The manual illustration doesn’t seem to show it.
Finally, how do I interpret the regeneration icon? Mine seems to constantly show a number 2 surrounded by three arrows, 2 amber, one green.
Any advice gratefully received.

You can change the Regeneration to 1,2 or 3 in settings, vehicle then convenience. You will have to change this from 2 (always starts from this) If you want to change it.
As for the electric Motor not kicking in, check if you are on Icon sport or normal, and other settings, failing this it's just due to it being very cold. Just one other thing, 20 miles isn't very long to drive in the cold with heating, lights etc . NOT enough to build up the EV of the vehicle. Give it a chance. I have had mine for 3 months now and I'm so so happy. I do get a bit of a roar when climbing a hill, but hey ho, you can't have it all. Such a good car, I'm loving it.

Thank you so much for that David36, really helpful and reassuring. Do you have any idea what ‘READY’ in green means?
As Hybrids don't necessarily start the ICE when you start them, this basically means they are "on" and ready to drive.
