Intelligent Octopus + Ripple = Free Home Charging

As the Trophy is arriving Sunday, lots of juggling of power supplier and looking at deals is underway

Is anyone else a member of any of the current Ripple Projects?

I think I have got this right and the maths work out - just need to wait for it to start.

IO is currently 7.5p/kwh overnight
Ripple Project 3 (coming online next year) predicts savings of 9.9p/kwh in the first year, reducing after that as the power prices go back to normal.

So as long as I have enough power allocation from Ripple to cover the car charging needs, I should be getting more back than I spend, and the additional 2.4p will offset the higher daytime cost on IO.

Time will tell if it actually works out!

I have some Ripple shares and currently on IO and Octopus Gas Tracker.
I was hoping the money from Ripple will cover my gas usage.
It was supposed to be up and running by the end of the year but looks like April now so after the winter ?
