I have just got the 2022 MG5 LR mk1, used 33,000 miles. Had the car 2 weeks now and really enjoying it as my 1st electric car.

The only issue I am getting is the AC. To get any sort of heat I need to set it to 27c to max, even then air flow is pitiful.
If I set it lower it just blows cold air like it trying to cool the car down.
Is there a way to rest it or is it back to the MG dealers to review.
I have tried it in all 3 modes eco normal and sports mode.

Thank you

You’ll get next to nothing in the eco setting. I don’t like a particularly warm car but always found the normal mode gave adequate heating.

Eco,Normal and Sports mode ? Are you confusing drive modes with HVAC modes ? . In my 22 plate MG5 LR, I also find the heating a little poor though I generally prefer a cooler car anyway...unlike my wife :)

Haha, but no I am not. I have read a few posts on here saying the driving modes can affect the a/c performance. It's like the car thinks the internal temperature is higher then it is, when in High it just tried to maintain the current temperature.

It was -5 driving to work yesterday and A/c was still trying to cool the car down when on auto mode, unless it was set to high. Then when on high u could feel heat coming if I put my hand to the vent but very weak out put.

I find my FL5 heating is quite binary. It’s either blowing hot or cold. Changing the temperature in +1C increments is cold, cold, still cold, hot. Where’s warm?

It doesn't start getting warm till 27c but then the air flow is almost non existent, I have it on auto, so this should get the internal temp to what ever temp I have it set at and then maintain that temp but it doesn't lol

The heater isnt very good, I personally dont use auto and set to 24 ish to get it warm, then down to 20-22 once warm.
