Hi fellow ZS EV owners. I was adjusting the times for scheduled charging yesterday when I came across an unchecked setting which from memory read 'Battery heating on' - might have said always on. Anyway, who can shed light for me please?

The general opinion on battery heating, especially in our area of the South, is that it really makes very little difference - leave it off. Battery heating is really only necessary at sub-zero temperatures when the battery will likely resist charging at any sort of decent rate.

I would be interested to know if this problem differs between battery size ?

If you do AC charging it makes no difference.

If it is really cold outside and you need fast DC charge, it can make a difference.
