iSmart -accounts, cars and phones

There's been quite a few threads on ISmart and I'm trying to understand it more, particularly accounts.
As I understand:

• The iSmart app is downloaded onto a phone and an Account is set up, characterised by a mobile number/email address and password.
• On another thread, Siteguru has made the point that the car is bound to this account and not the phone. Thus more than one phone can access the car using the bound account.

So:

• Does the 'unbinding' operation carried out from the phone unbind the account from the car and thus other phone users can't access the car? But the account remains and could be used again or a new account could be set up and bound to the car?
• What is the effect of deleting the account? This presumably not only unbinds the car but the account cannot be used again?
