Ismart info missing 2nd gen Zs ev

Hi, does anyone notice that the sunroof status is now missing in the Ismart app ,for mg zs ev, very annoying as i used to be able to see if i accidentally left the roof open at night without having to visually check.

No I didn't notice, but I guess its gone because for me it was always showing as open when it was fully closed ! And the TLR no longer comes with a fitted sun roof.

I agree partially with your comments, but on first view on opening of app, you had to do a refresh of screen to show TRUE status of items, ie doors, roof etc, or the held history was the last to take place . regards

Oh, that’s odd - I still have it on mine, although it usually says ‘sunroof open’ on the first pass!

hi Susanna, that is the display i used to have, can i ask what version of the app you have , mine shows version 2.03 shown in settings (about) Regards .

Thankyou so much, i am confused, my app says i have the latest version, when you start your app does it show a picture of a MG ZS or An MG4, sorry to be a pain as Mg have now replied to me stating they had removed roof status for security reasons i have requested further info about that??

Yes i have contacted MG they tell me the sunroof option icon has been removed for security issues, i actually think it is due to Sunroof option cars are no longer available, if you order a ZS ev Trophy now it will not be available with a sunroof, the moral of the story, if there is no Sunroof, then the option in Ismart is not required. Interesting thing is this item is removed not from the App but from their server update scan. Which does seem to indicate sort of Over The Air Updates Are Available to a degree. Therefore different versions of the app can have the items removed/added, without an app update roll out. Look out for more TINKERING.

I just noticed this as well. The sunroof status has gone. I did feel that the status fields were slightly reduced. That's annoying though!

Yep, i emailed them to be told the same thing.
Not a big deal but poor at the same time.
When will they remove something that is a big deal.
