Ismart unable to get vehicle’s GPS

I took delivery this afternoon, and I’m trying to find out how to use the onboard and Ismart functions. I’ve managed to, bind the app, log in and access the user manual, and settings etc. But when I try to ‘find the vehicle’, or any of the other choices on the first page I get “unable to get vehicle’s GPS”.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Noel, welcome to MGEVs, to be honest it's not the slickest app in the world, I think we all have similar problems with it from time to time, have you never been able to access it, or is it just occasionally, either way, I wouldn't rely on it too much.

Hi Clive. Many thanks for responding, I drove to the dealership ship in Eastbourne, 40 miles away, to give them the keys, to my now previous car, which I had omitted to leave with them, in my excitement to get driving.
I explained the problem to Sam, in sales, and we went out to the car, in 2 minutes the iSmart app was working, don’t ask me what he did, the fingers flashed, and there was no way I could keep up.
We also went through a number of other queries, and now I’m a lot wiser, well perhaps not, but I’m beginning to get my head around the menu structure.
By the way the new car is a ZS HYBRID +, and the more I drive/explore it the more I’m liking it.

Noel, I have decided to buy the ZS HYBRID+ and I'm glad to hear you're beginning to like it. Can you tell me, does it drive generally nice?

Hi Ann. It does drive very well, it’s comfortable, and a nice place to be. Further more it absolutely loaded with just about every feature imaginable, and here lies my frustration.
Working out how to control them all is proving to be quite a steep learning curve. I think I’m getting there, with Clive’s help.
I must say the dealership have been brilliant, however they are 28 miles away, and it’s not always possible to solve a problem on the phone.
I looked at one last Wednesday, test drove one on Saturday, and placed the order, and on Thursday drove it away.
