It's Arrived

Still on R30, but has been absolutely faultless in the 500miles i've driven since it arrived yesterday. (what infotainment version got the update A/C layout and drop down menu?)

Haven't really noticed the LKA or any of the driving aids coming down the A701/M6 so hopefully it's not out to get me.

Only things I've noticed:

Slight rumbling noise, like a ICE car in slightly too high gear, upon accelerating up to 50/70 then letting off to a steady speed. Lasts for about 30 seconds then stops, only noticed it in eco mode, could be the road surface of the on ramps.

Drop down A/C controls don't work in android auto, minor annoyance. I've been shouting at the car to change settings anyway.

Can't assign OPD to either star, slightly annoying. I thought this was an option from reading through.

There was a valve cap missing on delivery.


Other than that, absolutely brilliant. No issues maintaining Android Auto connection with a wireless adaptor. App seems to work perfectly (praising it when I could preheat it at 4am when it was 1C outside). All three rapid chargers I've used have been simple tap and go.

All in all, wouldn't go back to driving my LDV Convoy from Edinburgh to Bournemouth and back twice a month.

Re. revision - can you spell out the whole version number please? R30 is the latest if yours starts with SWI133, but it's very old if it starts with SWI68.

The AC controls not working in AA/CarPlay is a security policy change which means we can't tap outside the main screen in that mode. It is unlikely to change.

Congrats... wish I had your plate, it's DC is my initials. I did actually have DC 14 out of pure luck on a previous car.

Yeah voice control, or use the button to turn A/C off and on again, and the drop down drops down over Android auto (for me).

Nope. Have to turn it back on every restart.
