Just saying hello

Mick. 🙂👍

I drove a Shotgun 4x4 before the MG. It towed our caravan for many years. It was 21 yrs old so was coming to the end with nearly 200 thousand on the clock. My wife wanted an EV and I wanted a car that would comfortably take 4 people. The M5 fitted the bill. We found a car with only 12,200 miles on a 21 plate at a bargain price. I'm now converted, I really like the car, we charge at home with a ohme charger.

Hello,
My name is Mick and I bought an MG5 last week. I hope to learn a lot from being here about MG ev ownership. I'm from Stroud in Gloucestershire UK.
Thank you
Enjoy your new car. I love mine. The heating system is possibly the biggest issue to get used to.

Not sure what is too hard about the heating, I just set my desired temperature and pressed Auto. Job done.
In my previous car that was the case. In the MG5, not so much. It doesn't seem capable of keeping the car at a desired temperature. In general it is too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer.
The rest of the car more than makes up for it though.

It is a car that will surprise you! For the money they are hard to beat. I doubt I will go back to an ICE car in the future.
