I've noticed on some videos and photos some MG4s have a little LED display above the steering wheel in front of the digital display. I don't have one in my MG Xpower and the manual doesn't mention it, though it is included in the the manual's drawing of the dashboard.

What is it for and why do only certain MG4s have it? It's probably a really boring answer but I'm really interested to know!

Well no sooner had I posted this I stumbled across older posts. I believe it's to do with the driver fatigue sensor and was quickly removed so only early models have it. I think driver fatigue is still detected but in some other way.

I think it has sensors in the steering which can detect how the driver is controlling the car and together with LKA can detect if the car is wandering across the road. Also a coffee cup appears after three of hours if the car hasn't stopped and the driver got out.

I drove my car for well over three and a half hours yesterday (very slow traffic on the M25) and there was no sign of a coffee cup before the one I bought at the Milton Keynes bus station while the car was on an Ionity charger at the end of it all.
