Currently I find having locked my vehicle with the key fob I can still open the boot. I accept that key fob is sensitive and can easily be triggered when away from the vehicle which happens quite frequently. If this were the case as I stand close to vehicle I would hear the boot lock disengaging including the mirrors closing but this is not the case. Any solutions?

As per above - if the keys are on you then the physical boot release on the car will simply work, even if you've already pressed the main lock button. When you close the boot it will lock again.

It's a pretty common way for this setup to operate. If you are not sure, just try opening the boot without the key on your person.

You will notice that the mirrors do not un fold as the car is still locked , the boot will open as you have the key with you . Close the boot and you will see the indicators flash. This is normal . The car is locked and if you didn't have the key with you then you couldn't open the boot. All keyless systems work like this.
