Thanks for your ideas....1. Is the car getting a mobile signal? If it is, when was the last time you unlocked it / used it? MG4 has been known to go to ‘sleep’ after as little as 24hrs sometimes.
2. Possibly because it’s not getting a good mobile signal, it may default to the nearest server location?
Not certain on these, just ideas…
Hmm, I’m stumped then I’m afraid! Sounds like you perhaps need a conversation with your dealer…Thanks for your ideas....
1: I have full mobile coverage here on most networks and I have connected it to the house wifi..
I just got back from a 200km trip this evening..
2: again it should be getting a good signal if that's the indication on the top right corner of the screen...I've been unable to connect to it most of the time but when I have it tells me the bonnet is open and my steering has failed ?
First thing for satnav is to turn of dead reckoning.
Fully aware of the search facility, I just thought given you were randomly posting how to turn it off, you might offer some further insight as to what it does.If you type in dead reckoning into the search (top right) you will get loads of info on it. You can use search to get info on just about anything, as most issues have been addressed.

Edit, dont worry yourself, I've now read up on it

Who bound the app to your car, you or your dealer? Seems very odd the car thinks it's somewhere else. Why does my car..?
1: refuse to talk to me
2: think it’s at the European Commission in Brussels even though it’s plugged into my house..? ?
Thanks ?
Both, I had to show him though…Who bound the app to your car, you or your dealer? Seems very add the car thinks it's somewhere else.
