Hi all
When I am looking around the expected millage is approx. 280. On 100% charge I am only getting about 220, however when I drive it drops dramatically to around 180 miles, I use Eco mode always.
Anyone know why I would be losing so many miles?

Have you ever done a less than 10% to 100% charge to ensure the battery management system 'knows' the correct limits of the battery?

Do you always allow the battery to equalise after it reaches 100% or whatever lint you have set?

Is the car telling you you have 220 miles on 100% or are you multiplying up a lower figure at a lower battery percentage?

What miles per kWh is the car displaying?

If you want to see the WTLF number you can reset the Accumulated usage data but that could be considered a cheat if you really have battery problems.

It also depends on type of driving, traffic conditions etc (my wife gets over full range on a long drive, I don't :(). Also have you carried out a balance charge? e.g. leave plugged in after reaching 100% and it will balance the cells as recommended in manual. Also I understand that aircon can affect battery and make sure you have intelligent battery heating turned off.

Have you had any software updates recently?

The reason I ask is that I had my car updated about a month ago and now the indicated range has dropped from 250+ to 212 on a full charge. It also won't stop at the 80% health charge when set in the app or in the car but carries on to 100%.

It's as if they installed the software for the SR not the LR. I've got the car booked in at the dealer's next month for them to check.

That's a poor GOM reading especially in ECO mode.
Do a balance and reset the accumulated trip to see if it improves. If not then it looks like you have a faulty HV or a short range.
Lowest I've had showing on the GOM was in Winter, with heater on, short journeys, 206 miles (real world about 140 miles).
Mine currently shows 218 miles when charged to 80%.

After a recent 10-100% charge the GOM came up with 308 miles remaining, tonight its showing 218 miles @ 71%, sounds like you have a software problem or a very heavy foot, BTW I just use Normal mode I really didn't like the brake feel in ECO.

You could always configure the 'custom' setting for normal pedal force and eco power?

True, although I believe you have to reset the parameters every drive, hard enough to remember to switch off LKA each time. I find that Normal plus adaptive regeneration give me the best economy (plus a controlled right foot!)

Nope - not in my car anyway. Whatever settings I've chosen for CUSTOM remain as such. You do have to select* CUSTOM drive mode each time you want to use it (as the car defaults to NORMAL), but you shouldn't have to reconfigure CUSTOM each time.

* I have one of my star buttons assigned to drive mode.

It didn't save the regeneration setting when I put it on Adaptive. :(

Must admit I've not messed with most of the settings since I first got the car. I tried custom early on but soon settled on Normal and either regen 3 or adaptive, this gave me decent enough range and I've not had any range anxiety that might cause me to select ECO.

Adaptive what? Adaptive regen is simply a regen setting that you change as required, and will always default to level 3. Plus adaptive regen is not a configurable option for CUSTOM.

If you meant ACC then my car doesn't change regen at all when ACC is selected.

Note: as you cycle through drive modes, selecting SNOW mode sets regen to level 1; but cycling on through should reset regen to whatever you'd previously chosen.

Note: my car doesn't offer OPD, so I've no idea how OPD-enabled cars will respond in such circumstances.

Nope, adaptive regen changes the regen setting according to the conditions, low regen at speed increasing the level at lower speeds, at least that's how it works on my Trophy. Likewise Regen is configurable under custom on my car and no it doesn't remember it either.
Edit: just checked and regen isn't part of the custom, it just looks like it is as from the drivers seat, but square on you can see it is not indented.

Yes, I know that - that's as intended (but not exactly in the manner you've described - speed is only one part of the equation; proximity of other vehicles is another).

Thanks for checking and confirming what I said, that regen is not part of CUSTOM. :)
