MG Owners club affinity deals, do dealers actually give a discounted price, if you have signed up for clubs affinity?. If they do, new cars only?, or used as well?

Affinity deals are available only on new cars.

And yes, the price is discounted. In my case it was about £2000 less, I think, but also included a type 2 cable, full set of MG car mats and a full-size spare wheel.

I was eligible for the Affinity scheme as a former teacher (so classed as being in public service). I didn't need to join the MG Owners' Club to benefit from the savings.

True. But in practice it didn't actually work out that way, for me at least.

Affinity scheme prices due to change on 1st April. Hopefully they'll go down again, particularly the X Power. ???
