MG Dealer Power Awards

It does make you think !
I am fortunate that my dealer is excellent despite the lack of support that MG provides
I do hope they don`t give up their MG franchise, they also Have honda Dacia and Renault.

Until MG put a stronger focus on customer care and support their dealer network they will struggle,

It is a shame because the products are not bad but they do seemed to have inherited the old BLMC moto of let the customers do the development work

Maybe the problem is in the MG DNA ? - could it spread into the rest of the Chinese car building empire.
 
Also mentioned that MG are dropping some of their older, smaller dealer franchises and perhaps looking for a more upmarket look with the cyberster. So will this mean less dealer/servicing choice in the future?

Can't say I'm surprised by the overall poor dealer view of MG. Their cavalier approach to dropping significant features from their cars e.g. Panoramic roof and V2L on the ZS EV without a new facelift to compensate suggests they have an awful lot to learn about both dealer and customer care. I for one will be much more wary about buying MG again!

That report doesn't suprise me. But only going off what I've read on here. But also lots of people on here have praised there MG dealer. My local-ish dealer Chorley MG always gets high praise. So make your own minds up. ??

It's not about how good the dealers are, it's about what the dealers think of MG.
 
How many dealers are MG only?

I suspect that most are like my dealer who also sells for Hyundai, Suzuki and Skoda...

... will the ranking make MG look at their dealers and improve? I'd hope so, but I think not...

Must admit, these multi-fanchise dealerships, seem to me, to be taking on more than they can chew. As opposed to just the one franchise dealer, who can concentrate on just the one marque.

To be fair, MG don't help. With the Tesla thing, they have the data, as to which cars are affected, which can be upgraded and should be contacting dealers and owners to get everyone sorted, but don't seem bothered... great car, but huge own goal, to my mind!
