MG EV4 Finally!!!! Got car play to work!

Yesterday, I noticed an interesting phenomenon with my CarPlay. Most of the time, the CarPlay icon on the bottom left of the homescreen remains grey when I plug my iPhone in. Yesterday, however, I noticed I could still access it using the audio options on the same screen. I selected left/right until it found a song from my phone, then clicked on the graphic for it and bingo!, there's CarPlay.

I bought a CarPlay adaptor to get round that problem, so that was a waste of forty quid!
