Things that need to be (improved / added) for MG Marvel R

Improve:
  • Minor bugs on apps/car.
  • Parking sensors don't get activated unless the camera is active.
  • Seats/minors 1/2 memories impairment.
  • Cruise control doesn't stay at the set speed (almost got a ticket because of that).
  • Improve driving screen display battery % usage.
[Example: While starting driving, you drive at 30 km, then join the highway while driving 120 km, and in the highway, it still shows after 20 minutes 30 km usage 15%.]

  • Automatic map updates (once the car told me to turn right on the highway, and there wasn't even a right lane).
  • Make the map easier to use.
[Example: I was using the map
. I was "going south," and the map was upside down. It was hard to even know when to exit the highway when it was upside down.]

Should be added:
  • Be able to see if the high voltage battery is in heating mode (on or off) in the app.
  • Be able to heat the seats.
  • Multiple users available.
  • Fix a lot of bugs.
  • Have a history of when the car was turned on and off, how much it was driven, how much battery was used, etc.
  • A Ai Map when you set a destination it tell your where to stop for chagring and how much you will have left when you are there. A feature like Tesla has

If there is something you guys would like to add, please let us know and share your knowledge with us on how to send this to MG so it has a high chance of coming in the future.

Sensible car brands test their cars in Scandinavia before releasing them to the market. Additionally, they conduct a few months of preliminary studies with pre-production cars.

Here, they have taken an old fossil-fueled Roewe, installed an EV drivetrain, and are selling it to customers in the world's northernmost countries.

I wonder if SAIC's engineers even know how a car should behave in sub-zero temperatures and winter road conditions. PS. The fact that the car also has a washer fluid reservoir the size of a ketchup bottle and no warning for low fluid level says a lot about the manufacturer's philosophy

Unfortunately MG doesn't fall into the category of a sensible car brand. 🙄
They fall into the category of, let's rush the model into the market place, and Sod the customer. Which is a shame, because they could be Brilliant cars. Instead of just decent ones. 🙁
