2025 MG ES5 revealed: ZS EV replacement expected for Australia

MG has officially revealed its electric ES5 SUV, a replacement for the ZS EV and a rival for the likes of the Hyundai Kona Electric.

I searched the MG ES5 in our search function, and nothing appeared, although I know I posted something somewhere on the vehicle fairly recently. [ Edit: now found and moved. ]

This is the best video so far of the ES5.

Seems to be a mish mash of MG ZS EV and MG4.

Is it the next HSEV or is it the MG4 SUV?

Perhaps that's why it's the ES5.

The MG4 design cues are all there and this gives you a great idea of the direction the new MG4's interior is going, and not before time.

From dull and functional, to much more interesting and premium.

I am told I will be contacted shortly. I do know Australian MG will be bringing the ES5 as an early 2025 model. The car shares the MG4 base platform, but has a thinner battery pack, multilink rear suspension, rear wheel drive. It is a SUV style body, as opposed to the MG4 hatch.

I can 100% confirm that there is no pre orders for this car here in the UK, there are a couple of them being tested by MG UK nothing regarding orders/preorders or anything as such
