MG ZS EV ismart compatibility

Hi All, thanks for the ad, about to collect a Jully 22 ZS EV Trophy. I was expecting the app to work with this model but just found out this is not the case. Is there an available software update to me this possible?? TiA

If it's a trophy the app is available
The only ZS that doesn't have the app is gen1 ie chargepoint centre of grill not off to one side

Spot on, thank you, dealer said is wasn't compatible as it wasn't "connect" model. Collection soon and didn't want to be disappointed

All facelift models have the ISmart App functionality.
The top spec Trophy ? connect has voice activated command functions, plus other features of course.
I sometimes wonder ? if some sales staff, would be better suited to working in the likes of Curry’s ?.
It’s not like you are dealing with Saturday staff here ?.

Newbie here - Hi!

Just collected my brand new ZS EV last week and am struggling to find the QR code in the infotainment system in order to bind it to the app.
Have watched multiple videos online but it doesn't appear on my screen in the same place.

Any advice gratefully received.

when you say "brand new" - it means 2024 model? post some photos, it will be easier to understand what is on your screen and in what section.

on a separate note, even with a qr code it takes a bit of time for it all to start working so don't expect it to work immediately

Welcome to the forum. I hope you are enjoying your new EV. The setting screen is a bit cumbersome and there is a "hidden" scrolling funcion in the grey bar to the right of the screen. What you are looking for may be hidden there.

I swiped the home screen away to the left and eventually found the QR code under USERIMG-20241003-191713 hosted at ImgBB

PS I made rather an assumption that because my car has a 74 plate that it's a 2024 model.
I don't know how to tell for sure.

There should be an A4 sheet inside of the car that will show when the car was actually built.
The number on the No plate ( 24 - 74 ) bears no reflection at all on when the car was built.

Other victim of the terrible UX design that allows most users to fail at the first hurdle by burying the registration screen in sub menu that's totally unintuitive to find.

Found it! - my car was "born" on 18th May 2023!
