MG ZS EV vs Ohme ePod

Hi all,

Brand new ZS EV owner here, and first electric car so please excuse any thickness!!

I've tried to schedule a charge last night which didn't work, and trawling through threads, seem to find multiple reasons, so wondering if anyone could give a definitive solution. These are my current settings:

1. MG app has scheduled charging set between 00:00 - 05:00 (on British Gas EV tariff chich offers 9.4p per kWh during this time).
2. Current charge is 62% and target battery level is 100% (I just want to make sure I get a full charge for a long trip)
3. Ohme app has a schedule in place for +100% every day.
4. Ohme app has a price cap of 9.4p/kWh.
5. Car was locked after plugging in charging cable.

In theory, I can't see why this hasn't worked, but any advice whatsoever would be massively appreciated!

Hi, only use one timer. I would suggest turning the scheduling off in the car and let the Ohme do it's thing.
If you have an Ohme then check out Intelligent Octopus Go, 6 hours plus for 7.5p

Hiya, thanks very much for the quick response.

Took your advice and disabled the scheduling in the car.

Even within the Ohme app, it appears that price cap vs schedule seemed to conflict. Turned off scheduling, amended time settings of low price and appears to be charging. In theory, changing the price cap settings back to tonight should now work, fingers crossed! Thanks for the help.
