MG4 Extended range real world range

Thanks for the last two posts...very useful. At the moment, it's a toss-up between the MG4 77kw and Renault Megane etech.
Former has better range, rear space; latter has better interior, boot space, infotainment. Not much to choose between the drive, charge times.

I bought a new MG4 ER (77Kwh) early December, and am getting circa 250-260 miles in winter (I don't think I've had a single day over 10 degrees!), and did a 200 mile motorway run last weekend, when it was 0-3 degrees- set off on 100%, arrived at 22% with an average speed in the low to mid 60s. The range should increase as the temperatures increase, but happy with the range bearing in mind it's cold.
The MG4 is my first EV and love the way it drives, and is pretty quick too. It has however developed a fault with the heated seats already, which is not a great start.

Isn't the 60kWh E-tech more like the 64kWh battery MG4s.

Or are you saying they are your options because they are the same price?

That's quite a lot of extra battery for your money that you can potentially charge up cheaply/free in the future.

Same price on EV scheme.
Disappointing that, 4yrs after getting my EV lease and the promise of falling EV costs, the new Niro is now 50% more per month than when I first leased it!
So Megane v MG4 is the choice.

hi everyone!
I was wondering if you could advise what's the real world range you're getting from from your 74kwh extended range? I'm currently driving MG5 LR and i get anywhere between 170-230 miles depending on weather, conditions etc. We're looking at upgrading, and I was thinking ID3 77kwh but I'm a bit concerned with VW battery quality, as most of the under 3 year old ID3's (Mileage all under 25k) have SOH of 90-92%, which seems bit low. My MG5 is 95% after 50k miles (I believe MG batteries are made by CATL which have a quite of a good reputation, not sure what batteries VW is using). So basically i want to make sure i'll get at least 50 extra miles per charge before we decide to go ahead and change.
235 miles winter, 285 miles summer. These are averages.

250mi winter max, 340mi summer max.
Today we had 14°C and consumption was almost in the summer range. I had 70km driven and 17kWh/100km.

I have just got a extended range and if you drive on eco and no air con but using heated seat and steering wheel and popping air con on if screen gets misty ,stick to speed limits I’m getting 270—280 miles (~440km) range (but not on motorways) quite easily.
