Given Tesla had a delay on new car shipments and customers are waiting for the new Highlander Model 3 to arrive, I wouldn't place too much stock on that one month of data.
Meanwhile, the declining dominance of the Model 3 might be at least partly explained by the impending arrival of the new refreshed version, which is yet to begin deliveries to Australian customers.
Plus, that stalkless Model 3 refresh is likely to kill sales of the refreshed Model 3, at least until people get used to it.
Or they don't get used to it, and Tesla have to put back the indicator stalk. Tesla like pushing the envelope, but sometimes they push too far. I suspect the indicator change is one such case.
The Tesla model Y (which still has stalks) outsold the MG4 more than 3½ to 1.
