Mg4 Lane assist hardly activating

I have read lots of forums about MG4 lane assist too aggressive etc. But i seem to have the opposite issue mine hardly ever initiates so on the dashboard the lka symbol mostly stays white and rarely goes green. If it does work it might only go green for a few seconds. This happens on good roads with decent painted lines. When it does work its only a gentle pull on wheel. According to dealer my car has latest software. Has anybody else got this issue ? Or should i just be grateful?

as you say, be grateful it's a mixed blessing - we had torrential rain over the weekend while I was driving, and as I was trying not to soak people walking next to the road, I did my best to avoid the larger bodies of water on a 2 lane road, crossing lane when needed, but LKA kept kicking me in and steering into the puddles.... fortunately, no-one got drenched (outside of the rainfall itself)

If you want it to be more assertive, I think you're in a minority of one. Be grateful.

Yup, mine also ignored that memo!
Will deffo 'assist' under 37mph in my car.

Were you using ACC at the time? Could you see a steering wheel icon near the top-left of the driver display?

If the answer to both is Yes then that was TJA not LKA.

No ACC, couldn't tell you about the display, I'll try to look next time, it's on a single track road with passing points, often nudges after a passing point when I goes back to single track
