MG4 or new UK-spec Marvel?

I read yesterday MG plan on releasing a new Marvel R to the UK market to be built on the same new Modular Scalable Platform as the MG4.

Although still some way off, would this news have made you reconsider ordering an MG4 and wait for news on UK spec of the larger Marvel?

Despite bulgy underside and oil leak I love my MG4, but this news has definitely piqued my interest.

With the price point it does go against more competitors in that space offering similar style cars. It would need to be loaded with more bells and whistles as standard in my opinion.

As above, it will be a new car in a different segment at twice the price. Unless you have blind brand loyalty there would be little reason to swap.

The photo looks suspiciously like the next gen ZS (late 2023) renderings.
Are they changing the name from ZS to Marvel R so they can increase the price ?

I thought it looks exactly like an MG4.
